I have an 84 Celica Supra with 292,xxx miles.
Yesterday I took it on two, 45 mile drives and noticed it heats up at high speeds(80-100mph) After I noticed the temp high, I slowed down to 50-60mph this was on the 5 freeway like at 1am so not much traffic. While driving at those speeds the car went down to regular temp. As I sped up to 70ish 80ish the temp would start to climb again so I would slow down.
On the streets though (30mph-50mph) it tends to stay cool or cool off if it was hot.
Also one other annoying problem, the digital cluster gauge only works when it wants to. How can I fix it? Thanks!
