ok so my bike runs GREAT! after a 20 mile trip and i park it the battery is dead :(. i know its not the battery cause its new, i know the regulator works because i have tested it and its putting it back in the battery around 13. i just dont get it i have to buy a new battery every year because my bike keeps draining it. i am suspecting its the headlight. it looks like someone put a "stanley" car light in the front maby its the kind of light that came with the model but i am so lost. i changed the sparkplugs i just tuned the carbs it runs great its just this stupid drainage issue..... please any advice cause im about to burn the bike. (even though i love it....)
i see you say its the stator but i know its not that either because i cleaned the brush... but i will double check. a new one will run me almost $200

Your regulator/rectifier should be putting nearly 14v back to the battery. Although 13v isn't bad it isn't top notch and may explain the once-a-year battery replacement. Could be your stator is starting to fail.
As for the headlight you may want to research an on-line forum that talks about Suzuki issues, there is probably some one that owns that same model and you two can discuss (rather than just cuss) the matter.

Don't burn the bike - that's ARSON and CONSPIRACY to commit ARSON are both FEDERAL crimes punishable to up to 100 years in the pen. ;D

power in power out??

the ""Alternator"" puts out so much power.. lets say 13V 20A.. if the bike is drawing 22A the battery will go flat..

So you need to find out what amps the bike is drawing & what the bike is charging at??
