1984 Cadillac Saden deVille heater blows cold air only?

The heater just stop working. I've check fuses,coolant, and vacuum lines ,all seems to be OK. AC gos on clement control seem to be working ok. there's a valve that the heater hose is hooked to that is activated by vacuum the hoses is hot on both side of it. thanks a head of time for your thoughts, Billy
