Please don't judge, but it would be a first car. As I said, 1983 Pontiac firebird. The engine is a 400, and its a T top. But most of the seats are ripped up, the radio has been taken out, and there is a panel in the trunk that's missing, or maybe the speakers were removed too. As well the outside is very nice looking, only a couple rust spots and a very small ding next to a door, but I could only tell by thoroughly inspecting the car. The price is $700, but is it worth it if there is that much wrong with the car? I'm willing to pay extra to fix the car up because it would need to be a different color. Any information or car sites to check would help!
>.< sorry, I know nothing when it comes to cars, so 400 is the only thing I know about the engine. Also, anything I should ask the owners about the car, motor, etc. It has almost 992,000 miles on it!
The engine has been maintained, the only reason they are selling the car is that it doesn't have room for a car seat for their kids. However, as I've said, the interior is rather beat up and would take some work on my part.

Cool Car, Pontiac is a good, long-lasting brand. But, I think you should shop for another car for three reasons: 1. The cost- $700 seems a little high for the condition of this car. 2. This car is 27 years old. 3. The labor and cost of fixing this car up yourself will be brutal. I bet if you go to some dealerships and browse online you can find a better conditoned car that will fit you. But if you really want this specific car, I would add up what it would cost for paint, mats, speakers, etc. and see if it's really worth it. Good Luck!
