Ok so before i get started i am a very new rider ( as in i just started riding today haha) i bought a 1983 Honda Shadow VT500 today the man i bought it from drove down here on it andi drove it home so i know it was driving fine a few hours ago. I went to take it our for a spin a little later and it would start after about 5 mins of trying it started up and i started to go but im still getting use to the clutch... and i jerked forward and it cut out after that it wouldn't start again. i tryed a good bit more to get it to start nothing at all no noise nothing, i get back from dinner and it starts right up.... but two attempts at getting it in to gear later it wont start again, do i just have to let it sit and try again or is there some thing possibly wrong with the bike? again i am really new at this riding thing never touched a bike in my life so layman terms would be awesome thanks for all the help
Tried turning the switch for both the main and the reserve still no go but thanks for the advice
Just tryed staring it again still a no go the batterie is making a clicking sound but its only a month old? shouldnt be dead should it?
