How do i remove all the steering components from the motor. I have a 1979 terry boat 15 ft. Seems like theres not enough clearence to pull that cable from the motor i tried and can only pull it out half way then it gets stuck on the side of the boat. i did pound the metal steering piece all the way in on the left side before trying to remove and still gets stuck. On the right side the piece i pounding through is what im pulling on. Whats the right way of doing this any tips or tricks
i did have to lift the motor and moved it to the left. Got it out thanks
