On the car in the title of the question, it won't heat all the way only half of the way to the half way mark on the temp guage. Once in a while it goes to the half way mark where it is suposed to go to then it "cools" back down. I have allready replaced the thermostat and the sensor. Also, there is no heat I replaced the vacume controled valve with a manual one even. The only other thing I can think of is the water pump. Being that the car is 30 years old, it was mentioned that the fans in the pump may have rusted away causing no coolant to circulate. What does this sound like. Has it ever happened to you?
