I have a 1981 Jeep Wagoneer, and it's sat for about 2 years. As far as I know, there was a maximum of 2 gallons in the tank when it sat. We put some new gas in it today.
It has a filter between the pump and the carb, and I can see if fuel is getting to that filter. After about an hour of jumping it off, the gas just never reaches it.
We tried putting a few drips of fuel into the carb, and it fires up or a second, but still no fuel reaches it.
I figured it might be a crack in the fuel line. Could this be the case?
Or perhaps a faulty pump?
