1980 TOYOTA CELICA FASTBACK OR TOYOTA CELICA SUPRA FASTBACK?

i am looking at buying a 1980 toyota celica i know the car has a 20 r engine but is it a big deal to put a 22r in it also is it possible to put a slightly bigger carburetor on it or a bigger camshaft in it are these things possible i m not sure i know the 22r is a better motor now the 1980 toyota celica supra has the inline 6 but i have heard they had a problem where they lean out on the back two cylinders and don't run right i dont know if any of that is true but im looking for some help when i get either car i want to put 16's on it and im not sure if those are even options how wide a tire can you get away with are there other options or mechanical issues to be concerned about i want to do a solid restoration on the car im looking for a fast back model something cheap that isnt rusted out that i can turn in to a good driver that is slightly souped up nothing overboard but just have the ability to drive about 80 on a regular basis are there performance parts and options im not even sure what is out there i am just a fan of the older cars.... thank you any help would be appreciated
