My bike runs ok with the choke on full but eventually bogs and dies. It was running fine all summer and towards the end of summer it slowly developed this problem of running ok for a few miles and then bogging down and dieing. I replaced the regulators because they were melted out the back thinking maybe they were the problem but that didn't fix it. A friend of mine says it might be the stator but the battery has never died and I thought the stator was basically the bike's alternator. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be or what to check next?
