1980 Honda cb650c starting issues?

Hey,

I've posted here a lot about my Honda bike. It's been having a rough time starting lately (moreso than usual). It runs GREAT (aside from fuel leaking from a bowl, which I'm having another go at this weekend) when it's warmed up, and sometimes I have to give it a little push just to get it going. I've had the carbs cleaned, the battery and plugs checked, etc. Is it reasonable to assume that it's the starter? I feel like that's the only thing left that would interfere with starting and not with running the bike. Thanks!
Will,

What do you mean by "dressing" the spark plug? Thanks!

Fuel leak is likely a float valve or spring.
It sounds like your issue is electrical and it sounds like it may not be firing right. If your power's good its probably not the ignition timing, but you may have arcing on your points which is keeping it from sparking properly, especially at lower RPMs when the flywheel isn't spinning very fast. try watching the points when you turn it over, you shouldn't see any big blue sparks flying across. You may just need to dress them, it's a pretty common thing to have to do.
