1979 pontiac trans am tires?

I have a 79 trans am With P 225 70 R 15 stock wheels and tires ,Rally rims I have acquired A set of snow flake rims 8 inch not sure if the stock tire size will fit these rims or go to a different tire size all together any feed back appreciated. thanks
 
I would imagine the car came with 215/65R15 on it. I would recommend 225/60R15 for replacements.

If the snowflake rims are 15 also, the P225/70 tires will fit, as will P235/65, and P 245/60
