1976 Honda Z50A Won't Run?

I just got a 1976 Honda Z50A and I changed the oil and cleaned the carb. I'm not sure it is getting gas but I think it is because the spark plug smells like gas and is wet. What else can I try to get it running?
 
Check to see if you're getting spark. Could be a bad plug, or if it's been sitting around for a while it could be bad (dirty) contacts on the magneto. Not sure if the old 50s had points, but the point contacts could also be dirty. Any of these would cause no spark. It's a pretty simple system, you must have, fuel, spark and air. So check the intake as well and make sure it's breathing.
