I purchased a 1974 Ford F100. I'm pretty sure it has 2V 360ci dual carb V8 (unk 4 speed transmission with a granny gear for first). It needs a lot of work. But, I know very little about engines and even less about restoration. I need help designing a plan for the project while maintaining it as a daily driver. So, I guess my question is: 'Where do I start'?
It needs a paint job and a little body work; the front end is in bad need of repair; I have more oil leaks than I can count; I want to change out the 9:1 gear ratio to improve gas mileage; I need to reroute the gas tank piping; interior restoration; replace a lot of the old technology with newer stuff; all my gauges are busted; etc., etc....
Any advice offered would be great. I just need to know where to start. Please help!
