When i go to start my truck it will turn over but wont start, it acts like it has a dead battery because it will turn over slowly once or twice, but i got the battery tested and it actually tested good. so i know the battery is good.

Have you checked all the cables from your battery to your starter and such? If you have corrosion on the ends or if the cables are original on a truck that old there's a good chance the insides have rusted and won't carry enough juice to turn it over properly. Simple way to check it is to disconnect the main power wire from your starter and then trace it back and disconnect the other end. Do an Ohms test on the wire, if you're getting a lot of resistance, change the wire.

get a battery brush, remove battery terminals and clean terminals and battery posts till they shine. Probably start now.

I myself would get the starter tested.Maybe its not turning as fast as it should..I would also check the main ground wire and the positive wire.
