1968 dodge charger trim?

why would u want plastic stick with the chrome makes them muscle cars stand out EVEN MORE! look at a 68 chevelle they got lot of chrome on them if it wasnt for tht they wouldnt look as nice and cool as they do
 
i want to replace all the chrome trim with plastic trim or something like it and i wanted to know if anyone makes reproduction plastic trim for a 68 dodge charger
(i need trim for windows, windshield and rear window)
 
wouldn't it just be more convenient to just take out the pieces and paint them to what ever color you want to, I think its really hard to find something for a car that old =]
