I have a problem, a 1968 chevy 350 truck that has been sitting for four years, we put gas in it, opened the inlet line to the carb to see if we were getting fuel to it and we weren't, then we replaced the fuel pump and made sure the rod was held in place by a larger bolt then put everything back together and the engine will not start normally but only starts when we prime the carb with either starting fluid or gas and when it starts it runs fine for a sec or two(no misfires), any suggestions?
