1964 Ford Falcon: How to identify the difference between the 260 and 289 manifold.?

there should be a casting number on it starting with C4 for 64 or C5 for 65, also look at the road draft tube in the rear, early ones had it. but there were some very early 289's that will look the same, so you can't really tell...

oh, I almost forgot the easiest, 4 barrels are all 289, any 260 will be a 2 barrel.. and a 2 barrel 289 will be a C5 at least for Mustangs..not 100% for sure about Falcons..
