1920's Pierce Arrow v. Cadillac?

I know that the Pierce Arrow in the early 20th Century was the car of choice for Presidents, stars, gangsters, heads of state. It seems to have been even more glamorous than the early Cadillacs. So I am curious, which would have cost more in the early 1920's? Considering comparable models, what roughly would have cost more?
