I think it would be fun to be a flapper like Isadora Duncan or Zelda Fitzgerald.
Also, you could be a TOTAL drama queen and do Sarah Bernhardt or Clara Bow or a little sweetie pie type of actress and be Mary Pickford.
I think there were some very early woman pilots too, but I can't remember a name...try Jacqueline Baker or something...the first famous black woman pilot...she might be the '30's but give it a look over.
The Temperance movement and the Salvation Army were really going strong in those days...look up names of female leadership.
Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood (an organ of the Eugenics Movement) was important around that time.
