I recently inherited an 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar with no mint mark. I was told that the 1884 and 1885 coins were rare pending where they may have been printed. I have researched the net regarding this coin some what and discovered there appeared to be 14k made of this year without a mint mark. If this is the case, then why does my red book only specify that the 1884 & 1885 years for the silver dollar are quite expensive. Does anyone know much about these two year prints?
