17 Weeks Pregnant with Gallstones :(

I went to hospital and they obviously couldn't remove my gallbladder because of the threat it would be to my baby. I'm on a very low fat diet to reduce symptoms, but I still get them sometimes. I have a hot water bottle that helps a little bit but I'd like some more relief. I have terrible sickness that lasts all day and night and with this on top of it, I'm struggling to feel comfortable at all. Does anyone know how I can manage the pain for my gallstones without taking paracetamol?

Thanks

Well, actually I know of cases where they've done the surgery on pregnant women. You're only hope is to stay as fat free as possible. If you get to the nausea stage even while being fat free, you are kind of at the end of the rope, so to speak. I didn't start getting that till a couple of weeks before surgery and I was on a strict diet. You might try the usual things that you'd be doing for the pregnancy morning sickness - raw fresh ginger is often helpful.
