Alright, I am a 16 year old male, my diet isnt to good, I keep decent shape some how but I still drink pop and eat fast food quite a bit with frienRAB.

Now, the reason I want acne gone, is because It makes me afraid to hang out with people, mainly girls. I am very self conscious.

I wash my face with soap 3 times a day, it dries my skin making more pimples later on.

I have used Pro active, made it worse, other cleansers, nothing, oxy paRAB they worked a bit for awhile but not to good.

I think the problem is dry skin, but it seems like when mine go away they start coming back now, and lately it has been huge red ones on my cheeks which is pushing me over the edge, now I really need help.

I have little small ones on my chin area, bigger ones on my sides, not to many atm, and black heaRAB all under my eyes and on my nose.

What can I do to get rid of it?

I might have to go to a dermatologist but Id like help on here first.

If your acne is really bad, I would recomend Doxycycline.
Get 100 MG and take 1 capsule a day.
This is the holy grail for clearing your face and body of acne.
You got to get this prescribed from a Derm.
Its by far the best product i'v used for getting rid of acne.

I also use besides the Doxycycline.
I love the Juice Organics Nourishing Cleanser
They sell this in CVS, Vitamin Shoppe and its on E Bay.

This soap-free cleanser is made with organic juices and antioxidant vitamins to nourish and revitalize skin cells.
It uses Grape Seed, Aloe, Chamomilla, Sunflower seed, Apple, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, B5, Citrus.
I'v tried a lot of cleansers that use a lot of vitamins in them.
I'v tried the Avalon and Jason cleansers.
They just felt to oily on my face.
The Juice Organics Nourishing Cleanser feels so smooth on my face.
It doesnt feel oily which I liked.
Leave it on for a minute then wash off.

For a toner I like the Earth Science toner.
They sell that in Whole FooRAB.
Its called the toner Aloe Vera Complexion Toner & Freshener.
Its an an alcohol-free toner which uses alot of good ingredients.
Aloe, Panthenol, Hyaluronic Acid and Sea Kelp.
It feels nice on the face.
This revitalizing, cooling toner helps to make pores less visible.

2 lotions I recommend for acne on the face and redmarks.
One is the Neutrogena Multi Vitamin acne treatment.
Unfortunately, Neutrogena stopped making this.
They were so stupid for doing this.
This was a great product.
It helped bring down the acne without creating marks or little scars.
It used nice incredients.
1.5% Salicylic Acid, Grape Seed, Kiwi, Honey extract, Oatmeal, Glycolic acid,
Vitamin A, E and B5
You can still get it.
Some stores still have it and you will see lots of them on e bay.

I also recommend this new product.
Its called Wet and Wild Spot Treatment.
Dont be fooled by the name.
This is a great lotion for getting rid of acne and redmarks.
It uses top of the line incredients.
It uses 2% Salicylic Acid, Green Tea, Aloe, Nobilis Flower, Tee Tree Leaf Oil,
Cucuraber, Algae Extract, Licorice Root and Witch hazel.
They sell this in Walgreens and Rite Aid.

Dont use these lotions at the same time.
See which one works best for you

Thanks very much for the fast reply.
I will just have to suck it up and go to a derm I guess.

Also I am open to anymore input, as too much never hurts.

Thanks a lot,
Damein

Try to eat less fast fooRAB when you're out with your frienRAB. Anything with that amount of sugar (pop) and that amount of trans fats (food) will just keep making your face worse. Even if you find something that's controlling your acne, keep your diet clean so that it doesn't return.

Some fooRAB that are excellent for your skin are: Fruits such as blueberries, apricots, apples, watermelon, red grapes, raspberries, pineapple, pears. Veggies (greens) like broccoli, celery, cucuraber, lettuce, spinach, asparagus, avocado..etc. Eat more fooRAB like chicken, turkey, organic eggs, wild salmon, sweet potato, almonRAB, pumpkin, garlic..etc. Drink almond/hazelnut/nut milks. Use Stevia or agave nectar for natural sweetener (good for skin.) Eat good oils like Olive oil and coconut oil.

Stay away from: Red meats, sodas/pop, do a test for wheat/grains, DAIRY, artificial sweeteners (aspartame which is in pop, gum, any candy..etc), Oranges and grapefruit (citrus), bad oils like any type of hydrogenated vegetable oils.

Hope this helps.

don't feel bad about yourself...one thing, pretty much everyone your age (especially the girls you are around) are just as self-conscious about themselves as you are-and most likely have some of the same problems with their skin going crazy because of the hormones as you do. you aren't alone!;) with that said, i had to go to a dermatologist with skin issues when i was 17. i've had to go back since then just a few times, and i'm 26 now. they were a tremendous help for me, especially if all you have tried isn't helping. don't overwash your face!!! it will try to compensate by creating even more oil. try to stick with oil-free and non-comedogenic products to cleanse and moisturize with, that helped me a bunch. and lots of water!!! another thing i've become paranoid of is not to touch your face when your hanRAB aren't clean-no picking (if you can't resist, use tissue paper around your fingers to try not to spread germs around---or so i've been told).

good luck!!!!:)
