This has been going on and off for about 3-4 years. Lately though I've been feeling it more often that not. I get these random, sharp pains right under my left boob (I'm sorry if this makes anyone uncomfortable but it is necessary to add). I also feel it above and beside it too. Sometimes it's in the same area on my back. Usually I only feel it at night but sometimes during the day too. I have never had any heart problems except a murmur which was declared benign about 4 years ago. Also, whenever I get the pains I always feel my left arm getting prickly. I'm not sure if it really is or if I'm just thinking it is because I know your left arm starts to hurt when you get a heart attack but I'm also pretty sure 15 year old girls don't have heart attacks.
I just went to my Dr. for a physical and he cleared me for sports saying I had no abnormalities but then again I didn't tell him about the pains. I figured that if it was anything serious I would have died forever ago from it.
Does anyone know what this could be and is it serious? Thank you!
