I'm 15 and am 176 cm tall. I have been working out with weights for approx 1 year now. Although I quickly got results and have always been happy with my body size i have read elsewhere on the internet that weight lifting stunts growth. I concentrate on arm exercises mainly and my arms measure approx 56 - 60 cm in length from shoulder to wrist. Somewhat shorter than almost all of my class mates.
Also, I used to be one of the medium sized people in the class but now I feel like I am becoming one of the shorter. This could be genetic of course, my mum is 150 cm in height, wile my dads is just a few cm taller than me with naturally shortish arms.
I'm not one to worry about this sort of thing usually but I need to know. Do my height and arm measurements make sense for a 15 year old boy? Do weights truly affect teenage growth as much as the internet makes out?
