I'm only making an assumption but the browsing loophole works because opera piggybacks on whatever data connection is there. If they open up browsing to 2mb, will the browsing continue on the piggybacked blackberry apn tunnel or default to the internet.com apn? And I now agree with a question asked previously, why would anyone choose the 1.5mb plan over the unlimited email with browsing with more data, for the same price?
 
Ranxoren, two things:

1. I thought we had established this before, but when you say that the Personal Email Plan will become Personal Email + 2MB you have me worried. This is being done automatically???

2. Assuming the plan DOES get converted. You can only use internet.com if you have the APN inserted. What if you keep the APN blank as we all have been? Will you still be using Rogers packet data?
 
1 : no it wont be transfered automatically.

2 : we shall wait and see what they do ... but technicallly if they update then we have to wait for an update of our apps if not then they wont work (as they dont work on pearls with 4.3)
 
Yes but on Pearls with 4.3 all we know is the workarounds won't install properly. This doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work for us who already have them.
 
yeah thats what i meant like it might work if they update but we dont
well see we can keep on going and coming up with every possibilities and end up being wrong
 
Ranx, side note, waht version is you phone, i could have sworn curve was 4.3, mine is 4.2.2.184, sorry to highjack the thread
