15 days after discectomy no relief anyone heal in more time?

hi I have done the works for treatment on three herniated disks I am 27 F and had a l5-s1 discectomy 15 days ago. I AM SCARED that this did not work I CANT EVEN think it without getting depressed. Please could anyone tell me if their nerve pain got better after this prceduere and how long it took. I NEED HOPE thanks ALL!!!!

Sorry to hear you are still in so much pain. Have you experienced any relief at all? I had L5/S1 disectomy on July 24th and felt immediate relief of the sciatic pain. There was still some pain, especially when doing the required stretches and of course the usual incision pain. The incision pain went away after about a week. At my 3 week check up the doctor prescribed Lyrica for the remainder of the nerve pain and it helped greatly.

Unfortunately I reherniated a couple of weeks later. I literally woke up one morning hurt as much, if not more than before. I am now scheduled on October 1st for a posterior fusion w/hardware of L5/S1.

Hi, I am now 16 dyas post micro d. I am curious how do you feel several months later?
 
um sorry this took so long to reply, but the sciatic pain is receeding but it still is there. Going for trigger point injects on monday. Hope you had some relief
