Ok so im 14 currently weight 105 lbs or so. Me and my dad have been going to the gym starting yesterday. My dad said that i need to eat ALOT ALOT and drink lots of water so he has been cooking HUGE portions of food. Saturday we went and signed up at the gym and bought grocerys. He cooked something with ground beef, onions , bell peppers, and LOTS of yams and vegetables and stuff and rice and he said i should be eating big portions every 3 hours since my metabalism is fast. so Saturday i ate a big plate of the food, then 3 hours later another big plate, then i had 2 bowls of cheerios. and lots of water. and an apple i think. then i woke up at 7:00 on sunday and i ate oatmeal with some protein powder and another potato. Then we went to the gym and we were bench pressing and doing all these other machines. we were in the weight lifting room for about 45 mins to an hour. We are going to the gym every night for about 2 hours except for sunday. 6 days a week. My dad said i need to consume LOTS and lots of calories and soon i should be consuming 7,000 - 10,000 calories a day of healthy food of course. when we were at the gym i lifted about acouple reps of 75lbs and acouple other things... If we keep this up and go to the gym everynight about how long do you think it will take to gain about 15 lbs of muscle? my dad says probably 6 months?? and by the way my dad was a body builder before he benchpressed 480 max. he just hasnt touched the weights in about 11 years so yeah. Im just curious because i wanna be noticably "bigger" when im a sophomore.
