This is my daughter's health history. I'm not sure what is relevant to the primary problem, but here are the details.
She had a rash on her right hand one day, after playing with a vacuum cleaner to her hand in June 2008 (at age 11). We thought this rash was fungal b/c of the vacuum. However, she has since got the rash several times - episodes months apart from each other.
In July, 2008, she was hospitalized for a week with a strong case of mono.
In 2009, she began having back pain. She also began having trouble with her fingers around this time. They began stiffening at random times, causing pain and lack of movement.
In Feb 2010, her joints started popping with movement. It started with her shoulders and elbows popping and pain during softball pitching practice.
The pain and popping quickly increased to other joints - knees, ankles, toes.
She has random muscle spasms in her legs, and episodes where her fingers and toes extend with pain.
She was recently diagnosed with a bulging disk (after an mri of the back) to explain the back pain.
She has been on Naproxen, Meloxicam, Robaxin, Ibuprofen/Tylnol, and assorted pain meds.
