I haven't been on board for a while, as you say I've been busy with living! But I've always had you on my mind. How have you been and are you feeling better since you've seen that doctor?

Thank you for inquiring. I am not sure if you are asking about my pm doctor or spinal surgeon so I will just a quick general update on me.
As you might remeraber, I had my 4th spinal surgery in Noveraber to remove one side of hardware, laminectomy at L3, L4, L5, s/1, and added bmp to L5/S.1 fusion site. After my surgery, my surgeon decided that he was no longer going to prescribe my meRAB which led me to a new gp. I have been blessed to have a wonderful general practioner who is kind enough to dispense my pain meRAB and is extremely compassionate about my pain levels.
My spinal surgeon also said some pretty terrible things to me and even brought up failed back syndrome at 4 weeks post op so I never returned back to him.
Meanwhile, I have been walking thru life in a fog, dealing with high levels of pain, and trying to accept this as my new life with the help of a psychologist. I just recently gathered up the courage and have made a second appt with another spinal surgeon to have a complete workup done on my back and to confirm the failed back syndrome. This appt will take place on May 12th and I will post an update as soon as I can.

Yes that's what I remeraber the most was that terrible doctor you had and last I heard you had found this wonderful doctor who was listening to you and was giving you the meRAB that you needed. I do keep you in my prayers and hope you feel better soon.

awww Diet, every time I read what you have been through, I just cringe...
That Dr. just deserves to be taken out back of the barn...yup..
I sincerely hope that the new DR. can help you out a bit..sometimes when you just get to the bottom of that barrel, things get a little better..let's hope he's one of the good guys...
