I went to watch this film last night and I have to say I was really impressed!! I wasnt expecting much after it had been slated in reviews but wanted to see for myself and im glad to say the likes of rotten tomatoes got it wrong!

Even though it may have been a bit Die Hard 3 I thought it was a pretty well conceived film and doesnt deserve the bad press it seems to be getting. I think maybe its the fact its made by WWE films that its automatically gets slated!

What is everyone elses opinion?
 
I thought it was fairly average. I don't think it deserved all the bad press, but it wasn't that amazing.

Some parts of it just made me shake my head, like when they were trying to trace his number, and got every digit except the last one - so gave up. Oh dear! And why did huge amounts of people get killed in the challenges, just to save his wife. A bit silly.

The acting wasn't the best either - particularily the baddie. His part American, part Irish accent was awful. Kinda like a poor-man's Colin Farrell... :D

But, yeah watchable with some good bits in it.
 
I took it for what it was really. It was the sort of "flick brain off" action film. I sort of went in expecting pants so I ended up enjoying it a little more than I thought I would.
