12 page paper on recent California court decision on gay marriage!?

Well tomorrow I have to turn in a 12 page opinion paper on the STRAUSS v. HORTON case. I'm suppose to pick a side and defend it. I know I probably have to use background information as well. Please help! I also don't really have a side, but I want to use a side that will be easier to use.
