My friend's boyfriend who lives (supposedly) in Georgia called her (she's in Canada) and she saved the number in case she needed it. Now though, she can't call him back and she's wondering where he is, as it's Valentine's Day, she has his gift, and he's usually on by 8:30 (it's 10PM now). I asked her if she could call him, and she said no, his phone can't take long distance calls. I found this strange, so I advised her to put a 1 at the beginning. She did, and no dice.
Come to find out, the number he previously called her with has 11 digits. The first 3 digits which I assume is the area code detail he's located in Oregon. LONG way from "georgia".
I'm just curious as to why it had 11 digits, is he lying to her?
