1098S stalled in the fastlane

Recently went out for a ride and bike stalled on the freeway, in the fast lane doin approx. 85mph. I luckily pulled over four lanes to the right hand shoulder safely. I was able to limp back to my local shop and left my girl there to let them find out what happened. Long story short- the kickstand sensor which is there as a safety feature shorted out and told the bike that the kickstand was down, thus shutting down the bike! Just a lil' info in case any of my brothers (and sisters) out there have had this same experience. Cheers!
 
One of the reasons to get a Nemesis ECU, rather than the DP performance ECU that comes with Termi pipes. The Nemesis disregards the sidestand switch.

Unfortunately, because its a race ECU, it also disables the anti-theft feature.

But glad you got out of that situation safely. Must have been a harrowing experience.
