1098 s question....

hey was wondering, read a few different posts on different boards but the S version black or red is a dual seat as well right? does the bike come with the passenger seat cover or just the seat? sorry but i just cant seem to remember and hope that someone with an S will be able to answer... thanks

My 1098S came with the passenger seat, rear foot pegs and the cover.

The base, "S", and TC all come w/ identical seating. Monoposto w/ separate, attachable passenger seat and footpegs.

Oh yes, I have. My wife reckons that it's no more or less comfortable than either my 998 or 999. BUT, the passenger seat is very slippery and there is nothing to hold onto, so it makes it a pain for rider and passenger.

yeah the significant other says that i am allowed to play on the track but she wants to be able to also go for rides on the 1098 as well.... not a problem for me, havent had a passenger in a while as i have been on track mostly and this will be my first street bike in years

Yup. my wife insisted also. I have a Corbin rear seat with the backrest for the Hayabusa for anything more than going to the local bike night on the 1098.

im calling the dealer tomorrow see how much longer it will be before i get the bike... i cant wait... last time he said he had people willing to buy the bike off of guys that have left deposits.. for substantial profit but i want the bike.... no if ands whats or buts........
