1098 Dyno Run Results ! ! !

I had my 2007 1098 Dyno last night. But I was wondering if they did it right. Because to me the result wasn't what I was expecting. They did three runs on the Dyno. My bike has the carbon fiber termignoni slip on with the included air filter and ecu, nothing else. And here is the results:

1st run in 3rd gear: max power: hp = 139.17
2nd run in 4th gear: max power: hp = 138.66
3rd run in 5th gear: max power: hp = 136.51

Max Speed = 163.3 mph

If anyone of you had your bike dyno and wish to share the results with me, I will appreciate it. I thought this bike had way more power than that. Or again, maybe they didn't do a good job doing the runs. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Juan

Are you going off of what the speedo indicates? Most speedos are off 5-10%, more so if you have changed the gearing(obviously).

ddnt change gears on my ex 848.. just Termi's slip ons with air filter and ECU... 170mph easy...

I know what you're saying about that 5-10%...

speaking of the 1098 it better go faster than what he's saying!! I just cant wait to take my new 1098 to the track.. I'm sure if I went 170+ on my 848 I can easily go 180mph on my 1098..

I was reading an Italian magazine about the new 1098 and it mentioned it just couldnt go faster than 300Km/h... which is about 187mph...
