1066 battle of Hastings Hollywood film Who would you cast?

I believe there is to be a blockbuster $100 million film to be made of the 1066 battle, but who would you cast in the roles of Harold II,William the Bastard, Harald Harada the viking plus HarolRAB two brothers Gurth & Luthwaine?. As a history teacher I have read many books and wrote my own account on the Battle through years of research of what really happend that day. Will the Yanks get it right?.

As a history teacher you would think you might have learned the true names of the protagonists mentioned i.e. Harald Hardrada, Gyrth Godwinson and Leofwine Godwinson.

I didnt write it! my 14 year old son did on my behalf because he's broken 2 bones and is off school bored. He will go to the bottom of the class because of bad research!:o

Hollywood will ruin it. They'll some how chuck in a few US Marines as heroes, the Anglo Saxon's will be sitting around drinking tea and saying "what, what, what old chap", and take huge other liberties with the history...

Will Smith as William the Conquerer.., aka BillyC :)

Tony Robinson as William, Tim McInnemy as Hardrader, Rowan Atkinson as Harold with Stephen Fry& Hugh Laurie as his brothers. Also Brian Blessed as Edward the confessor. This will teach those yanks to mess with our history, a blackadder special!.:D

Surely it will be Mel Gibson as the heroic cigar chomping William the Conqueror come to rid England of the scourge of the evil Harold played by some sinister looking English thespian. Obviously the Battle of Stamford Bridge (in order to develop the character and show the evilness of Harold in his treatment of the Vikings....perhaps show him executing plucky Viking women and innocent Viking children by locking them up in a church and setting it on fire) would be depicted without a bridge as per Mel Gibson's usual style

Alan Rickman as William I think and that Viking guy who played in the recent 1066 tv program as Hardrada,I don't know his name though.
