1000 Mile DIY = Paranoid

how do you mess that up? it takes a quart. open bottle, dump in fluid, throw empty bottle away.......

Just a reminder, there is more to a 1,000 mile, or whatever mile maintenance procedure than just changing out the fluids.

I've always had the initial 1k service done at the dealership. I just figured to play it safe and if any problems crop up before the 5k I'd be set. I figure most factory type problems show up early in the miles. After the 1k I either do it myself or go to an Indy shop.

Yep...the rest of it was fine. Its just the noise that has me concerned.
