100 Little Things We Love About GTAIV

Nah, it can't be top rank, because I can be one, lol.

I noticed I could select the zombie model after I got the achievement for killing a Rockstar dev. I guess it's one of those viral achievements, so anyone that kills me from now on will get it too.

So very true you only realise the detail when you're not actually interacting with the game taking a long cab ride and just looking around you see some amazing non-scripted moments. Such as a dude rear ending some girl who seemed to be injured and running to the car to see if she was alright. The "preacher" outside your safehouse in Bohan. People picking their nose and flicking it. Some of the phone conversations are hilarious too.

Yup. The only real fault in the "realism" is that the population is simply too low. I'm often driving down deserted streets, whereas liberty city SHOULD be the city that never sleeps. Same with the pedestrian population on the streets. There simply aren't enough people.

Hardware limitations. Sometimes some places are crazy busy with traffic and peds. Like Times Square and that huge motorway on the left side of Manhattan are crammed sometimes. Traffic especially.

Im not a big fan of the fat hookers, i tend to just run them over. The sax player is also in the subway sometimes. I like to walk into him and knock it out of his hand. "theres a tip jar for a reason."

Yeah, some places look pretty busy. But even then, go outside and have a look at the population on the street on your nearest high street. The real world street population is probably 10x higher. I live in a small town in England but I can see more people in the streets than in Star Junction in the game.

I really look forward to a time when we can have realistic car and people populations in games though!

I'll add one: GTA4 freezes during the same exact mission every single time on my 360. It's the only game of mine that freezes.

Best part of the game is the men's room with bas, clearly

if you actually got your RIDICULOUS wish of realistic populations, you would never play the game. it would be to crowded to move freely. it would be especially aggrivating while running from police. you would never get out of range.
