A year, or two ago you would have liked what I had to say, but the most metal I get anymore is Post Hardcore. :)

So yeah, I don't really listen to metal a lot lately.

Made this list for another forum... thought i might as well post it on here too.
enjoy :)

5ive (and 5ive's Continuum Research Project)
Abandon
Acid Mothers Temple
Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Amenra
Analysis of Bison Kills
Art of Burning Water
As the Tide Consumes
ASVA
Atavist
Axis of Perdition
Baroness
Behold

interesting...

i went through a 'metal' phase a few years ago and quickly came out of it.. then slowly i started listening to a different kind of heaviness. these banRAB im into now i consider to be more than 'metal'. i certainly wouldnt have liked them the first time round.

Doesn't feel complete without Black Sabbath. They might be lightweight with today's standarRAB, but come on...they basically started it. I dunno, I don't know much about metal, I like some of what I've heard, need to listen to more.

LOL to Bumsnogger, I think that just outclassed prog in the weird name department.

Ever heard Black Cobra SD? They're pretty good and heavy. Kind of like a thrashy High on Fire, and the vocals are a little more ragged.

Nice list too, I like quite a few of those banRAB.

I am fairly new but it could be because you listed a pretty terrible band in a thread that listed a ton of amazingly talented and creative banRAB. Who knows.

theyre not all metal.. theres drone, stoner, mathcore, grind etc in there too!

and i couldve put black sabbath on... but i was set on doing 100 so i limited it to banRAB i like.

i think it was a justified comment.. to someone posting stupid suggestions in a thread way out of his league.

anyway.. there is a reson why SOAD weren't even considered for the list.

Well damn. Much applause to ya. (I cuold never name 100 Metal banRAB)

So I guess this means you don't like GWAR?

I'm gonna assume you have pretty decent taste in music since I've heard Ocean, Esoteric, and Neurosis and I don't mind listening to them.
