Looks great! I want to do this mod so much. I think I'll just look for a 07 or earlier back wheel first, and then save for the front, then get tires when my current ones need replacing.. very exciting!

I got mine from a member here. Check ebay and post a thread in the want to buy section here. I'll head to the barn and see if the part numbers are stamped on the parts.

The 2010 wheel is a direct bolt on to a 08 Street glide. From what I understand to go to an 07 the only thing different is the axle so you would only have to change the wheel bearings only to fit an 07 axle. 07 Rotors should bolt on, 08-10 have Brembo brakes so rotors should be different. Fork lowers are the same for 07 and 08, so spacers should work.

Use everything off the 2010. I was lucky enough to find a wheel/tire with about 2 miles on it. Thanks icibuy.(wheel- with original bearings, tire, axle, spacers washers and nut) only thing you use off the 07 are the brake rotors. Bolt right up.
A mistake I made first was, noticed that I didn't get a lockwasher with the new wheel and axle. (the stock 07 had one)So I got a lockwasher and added it to the flat washer. Felt like I didn't have as many threads sticking through the nut. Don't need it. Actually asked a tech at my dealer and they don't use them (lockwasher)on the 2010.
Really a simple bolt on. Looks great, and I haven't noticed a difference in ride or handling.

I checked with myers-durum in tulsa, and they said it was a lot of trial and error, may cost me $400 in labor. wasnt very happy with the trial and error remark. myers part guy told me both spacers for both years were the same. so I pulled mine apart, got the mics out and found the left spacer had to be shortened.... if memory serves me, it was .120 (1/8"). it worked perfectly other than that. bearing, rotors, and axle were fine.

If anyone would like to purchase a brand new set of 2010 wheels, tires and what ever else they came with shoot me a PM. I just picked up my 2010 SG last friday and had the dealer install PM Hooligan wheels with matching rotors. The only milege on the tires is from being rolled out of the factory to the crate, then from the crate to showroom and then back downstairs to the dealer lift to be removed. Any reasonable offers would be appreciated.
