Can anyone give any formula's in regards to optical switches no matter how loosely it is s related.
A description is given below for a prompt
emits energy in the form of light when actuated by electrical energy (simplest case is the LED). The emitted light falls on the detector (say photodiode or phototransistor), whose resistance may vary or it may start conducting. The detector records the light reflected from the object. This produces a switched output or completes a circuit
It is not an opto-coupler I am sure
For the second answer Phototransistor Detector is not an optical switch, but if you have anything else like that for optical switches I'd appreciate it
