There were three men who stayed at a motel. Each man pays 10$. The owner tells the bell boy to refund them 5$ because theres a deal going on. The bell boy keeps 2$ and gives back 3$. Each man now has 1$ and spent 10 so they spent 9$. Where is the missing dollar if 9 x 3 = 27 and the bus boy has 2 so 29? (this took me forever to get but its soo simple once you get it)
Correct Adi Badi, as soon as it allows me to give you 10pts i will i promise.

[just say all they had was $10 each ]
3 men pay $10 dollars ok.
$10 + $10 + $10 = 30.
Boy gets $5 to give to them but keeps 2 so the 3 men have $0 each the boy has 2 and the motel has $25. the boy then gives the men the leftover $3 which they split.
The men hav $1 each or $3 between them, the boy has $2 + the motel has $25.
$25 + $2 + $3 = 30!

I did this one before...don't want to hurt my brain again...it's one of them misdirection puzzles.

The full answer is as follows:

The men each paid US$9 for the room or US$27 total. The hotel got US$25 and the bellboy got US$2. 25 + 2 = 27. It's a trick question and the 30 is not the goal. Or you can say each man initially paid US$10 and had US$1 returned to them. 30 - 3 = 27 = 25 + 2
