the cassette player works great it says what station its on heres the deal i got the truck 5 years ago with 30,000 miles in brand new condition with one flaw a broken off antenna i figured all this time it just needed an antenna i bought a universal one pluged it in the radio and nothing i didnt mount it to the fender so i figured maybe it needed ground so i put a jump cable to it and ran it to the frame,radiator support ect nothing i think its the radio i want to keep it in the truck how can i fix it or attempt to myself?
tried everything gary im being told by friends its the radios receiver its such a nice lookin radio for the year its the clarion 4 speeker it was in the 93 b2600 aswell im going to bring it to a repair shope im just lookin for a way i might beable to try to fix it.also when i put an mp3 cassette adapter in it and not play music the static is loud when i pop it out the statics low maybe its something to do with the cassette switch?or maybe just the reciever
