10 POINTS: How to get into pre-IB/IB program?

How do I?
I get pretty good grades. Last last year,
I think in all of my core classes, my
grades were within the A range and the
only bad grade I got was like a B+ in
P.E. Last year, I got like a 3.9 GPA. This
year, since it's only the beginning, I'm
still getting A's.
I did have to repeat kindergarten, but I
skipped 2nd grade. And now I'm pretty
much at the top range of smart
students, I guess.
The only problem I have is math, which
I'm working on, I keep getting A- 's but I
think I should get A's in math in order
to do well in IB.
Anyway, how do I get in? I'm in 8th
grade now, so how would I prepare?
What do I study? etc.?
Also, how much homework do you get in
IB classes?
Any extra info is appreciated, thanks. :)

By the way, I'm in 8th grade math...is it
bad I didn't go into 9th grade math this
year? Does it like, lower my chances of
getting into IB? How can I get into 10th grade math next year?

How can I get into all IB classes?

What years do you take pre-IB and full IB?
Pre IB: 9th, 10th grade? and IB: 11th, 12th grade?
