Ok so i have a 10 gallon fish tank and i want to turn it into salt water. I want to just do some live rock and a few invertebrates will this be easier than fish in a 10 gallon salt water tank?

The bigger the better with saltwater. If you do turn the 10 into saltwater (nano) You can have some snails, shrimps, small gobys
Some people have even kept 2 clowns.
If you can afford it, I still recomend getting a larger tank

saltwater invertibrates are twice as sensitive as fish..
why else do you see large public displays of JUST fish with resin or fiberglass rockwork (public aquaria, businesses, etc)
but in a 10 gallon tank (assuming you don't seriously mess up) would be a better choice than fish, if only because so few fish can live happily in a 10 gallon
honestly a 10 gallon with an orchid or springer's dottyback, or even a small blue damsel would be just as easy

It would be 100% easier than having salt water fish.
I dont know much about live rock but I know that you can put inverts into it and they will be very happy.
buuuuuuut, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SALT CONTENT and make sure every other aspect (pH, ammo, etc) is at the correct level, or your shrimp WILL die, Fire shrimp are sensitive as well as lower grade shrimps.
honestly any salty creature is sensitive to water quality, but its definitely easier than having salty fish!!!!
