Hi I have a 26 gallon with filter, air, heater and I understand that I need to do a water change every week or two. I just bought 5 neon tetra, 2 glo fish, 3 platy, 5 molly, 4 male guppies and 2 female guppies, is house in the 26g tank (all small fish) (petco personal assure these fish will go fine together) . Currently temperature is at 77, ph7, 3 fish got caught on filter and die. I currently have left 2 tetra, 2 platty, 2 guppies 2 molly what can I do to best suit them? when I do water change today 2 died almost immediately I use proper ph 7 and water conditioner but my 2 glo fish just started to swim upside down then die.
I think I cycle it, this is what I did 1 week prior to having these fish. fill water, have the filter on, bubbler on all week long with ph 7 added along with water conditioner. Then I acclimate all these fish prior to putting it in.
