...How bad did he disappoint? Wednesday's debate was the most-watched of this presidential cycle, drawing 10.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen ratings.

By my count Obama screwed up numerous times;
He was combative, dodged questions, did his professor act, and generally looked very uncomfortable. He also affirmed his committment to hike middle class taxes, which im sure went down well.

What gets me is how he can put up such a poor performance, on questions that have been bouncing around for weeks unaddressed in any comprehensive way and then ask people to continue donating money to him. He must have known that the issues raised would be raised, why did he fail to prepare adequately?
Tim G I agree with your comments. I could have answered the questions better than Obama just by making it up!

Really was quite insulting to hear him stumbling and stuttering through areas he really should have a clear, firm, rhetorical grasp on.
karma well put, thanks also bumblebe.

Obamas character, how he fields questions, how he reacts to pressure- these are the issues that define a man in the job!!

What will Obama do if he were to screw up as President? Get on TV and make a speech absolving himself? Please.

....if you are an Obamamaniac and have made your decision about him.. you either just looked right over his stumbling.. or perhaps you realized that you were wrong and wished you knew a way to invote for him...

... for the rest of us... it was entertaining watching him get the hard questions for a change... he never has before.. and guess what.. he fumbled and mumbled and ummed and ahed.. and couldn't answer..

Problem???? No script.. tough!
