i have an 85 chevy 3/4 ton and wanna run 1 tons (im running 42's). are they bolt in? do i have to move the perches? shock mounts? ill bbe running crossover steering and 4 88 gears also..

It isn't bolt in, you will have to remove the perches. Or leave them there if room permits you to just weld another set on. The one ton had it's perches moved in or out, I can't remember. You should also look at your driveline, maybe the U-joint will be the same, maybe it won't. A good parts store can come up with a swap U-joint that will fit it. It isn't a hard swao, just time consuming. Make sure while you are in there welding and what not to set your pinion angle correctly. You probably already know that though.
