Multi tasking here.. Here are most critical details. Standing straight in posture and looking straight ahead looking down, maybe six ft or so ahead. about 12 lbs fell 12- 14 ft hitting me directly on top of the head while wearing a hard hat. It didn't knock me out, but I was stunned and dizzy for a brief time. The summation was written after viewing an MRI. This MRI was about 11 months ago and I still experience tingleing and knumbness across shoulders and down to fingers.

Tight neck muscles caused it to happen, they pull on the vertebrae with enough force and long enough for it to happen, so freeing up your neck muscles will get the pressure off of it and get rid of the pain. Then you will have to see how you feel after that for the herniated discs I'm not sure what happens when the pressure is off of them. Here's how to free up your neck muscles to find out:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. After about 30 to 45 seconds, when you don’t feel the muscles releasing any longer, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
